The US Army vs. The Pod People
Dec 19th, 2005 by Matt
On February 24th, 1942 an incident took place in the skies over Los Angeles California. A large unknown flying object was spotted moving down the California coast. It was briefly reported in local papers during the days after the incident, but not much has been made of it since. And of course there is no evidence that can be found through the Freedom of Information Act that would suggest that anything unusual ever took place. As usual the government knows nothing about it.
All we were left with is some fantastic video footage (I cannot locate the documentary that featured the footage right now, but believe me, its cool looking) and this one very dramatic photograph which was taken by a local newspaper reporter…

…untill now. Someone found a recording of an actual CBS Morning News broadcast from the morning after the event. Click here to check it out.
What was it? A Japanese blimp? Swamp gas? Little green men who must have been scared out of their little green minds? Who knows.

Seems to be that if it were from “outer space” it would have traveled just a bit faster than it did. Also, if it didn’t have the technology to outrun a dozen spotlights, surely it wouldn’t have the technology to withstand as much gunfire as it did. To me, it sounds like a bit of hype for the time.
Could be right. It does seem strange that aliens would subject themselves to this kinda barrage.
But, we will never know the truth about what the army was chasing and shooting at because the government is pretending that it never happened in the first place.
So who knows, could be a blimp or something. Pearl Harbor was still fresh in everyones minds at the time so everyone was a bit jumpy anyway.
We saw a large globe and about five or six flashing light accompanied it. I hovered about what appeared to be an air base in norther Nevada. It lasted about a half hour then they all went straight up and disappeared.
